Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Programmer with 2-4 years of professional experience in web and database development using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building web applications, designing databases, and developing APIs. A strong understanding of ASP.NET with VB.NET and Classic ASP is essential. Candidates with experience in mobile development and Android/Java will have an added advantage.
Location: Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using ASP.NET (VB.NET) and Classic ASP.
- Design and manage relational database structures in MS SQL Server and MySQL.
- Create and consume APIs to support front-end and back-end services.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data manipulation and reporting.
- Develop responsive and dynamic front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DHTML.
- Independently handle project modules and deliver quality code with minimal supervision.
- Build and optimize complex domain-specific reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Languages/Frameworks: ASP.NET (VB.NET), Classic ASP, .NET 2.0 / 4.0 / 4.6
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced DHTML
- Databases: MSSQL Server, MySQL (Strong SQL and Stored Procedures expertise)
- API Development: RESTful APIs and integration
- Reports: Experience in building complex and domain-specific reports
Good to Have:
- Mobile App Development (Android/iOS basic to intermediate level)
- Knowledge of Java and Android development
- Exposure to at least 2 completed application development projects
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
