Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled BI Lead with 10-15 years of experience to oversee our BI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience with both Qlik . This role requires a deep understanding of BI tools, data modeling, reporting, and data visualization best practices, as well as the ability to technically lead and mentor a BI development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead BI Projects: Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of business intelligence solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
- Migration Leadership: Lead and manage the migration of reports and dashboards, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
- Qlik Expertise: Provide hands-on expertise in designing and developing complex dashboards and reports in Qlik to meet business needs.
- Data Integration & Modeling: Design and implement data models, integrating data from multiple sources for reporting and analytics, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, providing technical guidance and supporting their growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize existing BI infrastructure, improving performance, and ensuring data accuracy and security.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing BI processes, recommending and implementing best practices for data governance and reporting.
- Responsible for presales activities including effort estimation, solution design, and proposal development to support business acquisition and client engagements.
Required Skills :
- 8-10 years of experience in BI development, with expertise in both Qlik
- Proven experience in migrating BI solutions from Qlik to Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration from multiple sources (databases, APIs, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query, and advanced Power BI functionalities (e.g., RLS, Power BI Service, Power BI Gateway).
- Familiarity with Qlik scripting, data connectors, and Qlik Sense/QlikView platform administration.
- Experience in designing semantic layer and using SQL for querying and reporting.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance in BI tools.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of managing BI teams and delivering high-impact projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in BI tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, security (especially in Power BI), and best practices in reporting environments.
- Certification in Qlik, BI tools will be an added advantage.
