Testing Roles & Responsibility:
Understanding client requirements & functional specifications
Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures.
Collaborate with other team members

Sound knowledge about Bug logging related aspects
Oversees quality review of various applications
Assists in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans
Assists in recruiting new staff, conducting interviews and evaluate potential
candidates
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Understand and translate business and technical requirements into automated tests for both the user interface and backend of the application
Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end system quality Optimize processes and tooling to move us to zero defect and technical debt systems
Skills Required (Primary):
Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
Good organizational and problem understanding skills.
Exposure to any alternate testing method / type.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to express & work fluently with least handholding
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Willingness to do the actual testing work as well as set the strategy with a hands on approach
Ability to work in at least one automation tools such as Selenium/Appium/Jmeter/Cypress
Should have extensive experience into any one programing language (Java,JS/Typescript, .Net etc.)
Provide automation expertise to project team and troubleshoot automation issues
Prepare and share required details/reports to upper management to review quality progress of on-going projects
Must be an individual contributor - With little to zero guidance he/she should be able to fulfil the testing/automation needs.

Good understanding Load testing concepts and workflows.
Experience of API Testing Tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or ReadyAPI.
