Job Description

1.Responsible for the smooth, efficient and profitable running of the Cinema area.
2.Oversee and direct all and any aspects of cinema operations including box office, concessions, telesales, ushering, floors, and officiate in the absence of the Executive / Duty Manager.
3.Supervise the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis.
4.Monitor and controls, on an on-going basis:
Quality levels of product and service
Customer satisfaction
Merchandising and marketing
Operating costs
Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire area under his purview
Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas.
Complying with laid down systems and procedure.
Q Management.
5.Assist Duty Manager in setting targets/ goals for the department, makes constant effort to achieve the same.
6.Minimize transaction time and introduce new techniques of intelligent selling thus maximizing sales.
7.Conduct under the guidance of the Duty Manager, such functions as employee orientation, staff training, on the job performance, coaching and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
8.Supervise in liaison with the Duty Manager operational decisions and such factors as:
local requirement
market needs
competition
trends
potential costs
merchandising
promotion
9.Monitor and control departmental expenses, and maintains revenue/accounts related records.
10.Conduct briefing for every shift on daily basis.
11.Maintain minimum stock levels of all items and participates in inventories on daily/weekly basis.
12.To ensure proper hand-over and take-over at the time of shift change.
13.To provide feedback to the Duty Manager at the end of every shift through logbooks or in person.
14.To assist the Duty Manager in all concerns like preparation of relevant reports and maintain record of the same, implementation of all contracts, AMCs etc.
15.Responsible to keep work areas like food counter warmers - cold cases dispensing machine - popcorn maker - super chillers and floors clean.
16.To provide a daily requisition for the next day based on the forecast of cinema.
17.Give regular inputs to DM/Executive required for effective programming.
18.Responsible to conduct the appraisal process of Operations associates.
19.Responsible to sanction leave request and grant permissions.
20.Responsible for the recruitment process.
21.Responsible for the planning and implementing the duty roster.
22.Supervise housekeeping functions in the lobby area, rest rooms, auditoriums, and administrative offices.
