The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with a sharp eye for detail, a knack for uncovering compelling stories, and the ability to deliver news across digital and traditional platforms. You will research, write, and report on breaking news, features, and investigative pieces that resonate with our audience. Key Responsibilities News Gathering: Research, investigate, and verify stories through interviews, public records, and on-the-ground reporting. Writing & Reporting: Produce clear, concise, and engaging news articles, features, and multimedia content for digital, print, and broadcast platforms. Breaking News Coverage: Respond swiftly to unfolding events, delivering accurate updates under tight deadlines. Multimedia Skills: Capture photos/videos, conduct live reports, or collaborate with editors/producers for cross-platform content. Ethical Standards: Adhere to journalistic ethics, fact-checking protocols, and legal guidelines. Community Engagement: Build relationships with sources, attend events, and stay attuned to community issues. Collaboration: Work closely with editors, photographers, and the digital team to optimize content reach and impact. Qualifications Any Degree Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of published work. Proficiency in digital tools (CMS, social media, SEO basics) and multimedia reporting. Knowledge of media law, ethics, and AP Style. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings/weekends, as needed. Preferred Skills Experience with data journalism or investigative reporting. Bilingual/multilingual abilities (Telugu and English).,
