Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a (highly experienced) Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs that drive business growth and customer success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact programs and initiatives in the banking & credit cards domain .
Responsibilities
    • Program Planning and Design: Align programs with the organizations strategic objectives and business goals. Clearly define the scope of the program, including deliverables and outcomes. Establish clear and measurable program objectives.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with design leadership to contribute to the creation of world-class interaction designs, offering assistance from initial concept ideation through the entire design process up to the product shipping stage.
    • Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment. Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address and resolve issues that may impact the programs success.
    • Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and team members.
    • Requirements Gathering: Gather and manage requirements from stakeholders to shape the program.
    • Planning and Execution: Develop and manage the program schedule, setting realistic timelines and milestones. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet standards
    • Change Management: Implement effective change control processes to manage alterations to the program scope, schedule, and resources. Communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure alignment.
    • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success. Make data-driven decisions based on performance metrics.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, reports, and other relevant materials.
    • Contract and Vendor Management: Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors if applicable.
    • Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyze program performance, reliability, and incidents to identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance overall program resilience.
    • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and challenges within the team to maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
    • Project Planning and Delivery: Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the areas of end to end project planning and project delivery
    • Experience with any tech stacks: Must be from a technical background and have hands-on experience with any tech stacks (preferably Java, Spring boot and Postgresql). Preferably a PMP or Agile PM certification.
    • Project Management tools: Strong hands-on experience on any project management tools like JIRA, Trello, Smartsheets, OKR management software, Kanban, etc
    • Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of scrum and agile methodologies, sprint planning etc. Proficiency in creating animations from scratch using Lottie, showcasing the ability to add dynamic and engaging elements to user interfaces. This skill enhances the overall user experience through interactive and visually appealing animations.
    • Cross-functional coordination: Exercise good business judgment skills to find short-term solutions working cross-functionally for difficult/tricky engineering problems while not sacrificing the long term goals.
    • Reporting & Dashboards: Experience working with tools to manage schedule, cost and risks of ongoing projects and provide reports to management
    • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, somebody who can understand the business problem/domain fast and articulate problem/solution to different audience types (technical/business)Obsessive ownership towards individual and team goals and does it right
Experience and Qualifications
    • 12-16 years of software industry experience with 4+ years of experience managing large cross-functional product development projects from inception to launch seeing the full lifecycle with a deep understanding of agile methodologies
    • Experience in deploying cards platform is preferred
    • Undergraduate Degree in Engineering + Graduate Business Degree (MBA or equivalent)
