Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Pune / Bangalore ( hybrid, 2 to 11:00 PM IST)

Experience: 7+ years (6 relevant in DevOps)

Notice Period - Serving (should join in 15 days) / Immediate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in version control, CI/CD, containerization, and code scanning, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes workflows. This role will initially focus on migrating our on-premises footprint to the cloud, requiring expertise in Terraform scripting and AWS cloud solutions at a Solution Architect certified level. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the AWS cloud using Terraform scripts.
• Maintain and enhance version control systems, with a focus on SVN to GIT migration.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementations, including Jenkins master node upgrades.
• Manage and optimize containerization workflows using Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage code scanning and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to DevOps infrastructure and workflows.
• Ensure security and compliance throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, including SVN and GIT.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, with specific experience in Jenkins.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent level of expertise in AWS cloud services.
• Experience in code scanning and quality assurance tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
