Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with a strong background in core Java development (6+ years) and hands-on experience in Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and real-time data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and high-performance backend solutions using Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot.
  
• Build and maintain event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration.
  
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and work on integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
  
• Work with microservices architecture, ensuring robust service communication and failover mechanisms.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams for deployment and CI/CD integration.
  
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java.
  
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in core Java, multithreading, collections, and performance tuning.
  
• 2+ years of experience working with Apache Kafka, including producer/consumer configuration, stream processing, and Kafka Connect.
  
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
  
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
