Job Description

• Develop custom WordPress websites and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress development trends and technologies.

• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs.

• Test websites and plugins for performance, security, and compatibility with different devices and browsers.

• Provide technical support to clients and address any issues that arise.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.

• Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development.

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with WordPress development tools such as WordPress Codex, WP CLI, and Git.

• Knowledge of WordPress best practices for security, performance, and SEO.

• Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP and CSS.

• Familiarity with responsive web design principles and techniques.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug issues quickly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.

• Knowledge of WordPress multisite environments.

• Familiarity with e-commerce plugins such as WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Codeception.

• Experience with cloud-based development environments such as AWS or Azure.
