Job Description
Job Summary: Smartdocs Business Solutions is seeking a highly proficient Senior ABAP Developer with 2 to 5 years of specialized experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with the design, development, and maintenance of bespoke ABAP applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and sustain sophisticated ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Leverage both classical and object-oriented ABAP programming methodologies to craft scalable and robust applications.
- Provide comprehensive support for applications within SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems.
- Partner with functional consultants for precise requirement gathering, meticulous design, rigorous testing, and seamless deployment.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex ABAP issues, and ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Contribute significantly to ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, aligning with best practices and technical standards.
Technical Skills Required:
- Advanced proficiency in ABAP programming:
- Classical, Interactive, and ALV Reports
- BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements
- Smart Forms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms
- Dialog programming and module pool development
- Expertise in SAP HANA development, including CDS views, performance tuning, and data modeling.
- In-depth understanding of OData services, backend Fiori integration, and OO ABAP principles.
- Mastery in SAP UI5/Fiori app development, implementation, and configuration.
- Exceptional skills in ABAP Debugging, SAP Code Inspector, and other SAP standard development tools.
- Familiarity with RFCs, IDOCs, and ALE for seamless system integration.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience in ECC to HANA migration or HANA upgrade projects.
- Prior experience in integrating SAP systems with third-party platforms.
