Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced News Anchor who can blend the art of anchoring and reporting, while generating creative and impactful story ideas daily. The ideal candidate will possess exemplary communication skills and an ability to maintain an active presence on social media, helping build their personal brand and the Republic TV brand. Skills and Experience: Self-starter with the ability to generate daily story ideas. Strong combination of an anchor and reporter; comfortable both in front of the camera and on the field. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Breaking News and live broadcasts. Proven ability to build and maintain an active social media presence. Ability to stay calm under pressure, ensuring smooth delivery of news in a fast-paced environment. Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a full-time News Editor or Anchor. Must have previous experience in an English Channel. Prior anchoring experience, particularly with live shots and breaking news, is preferred. Strong writing, grammar, and editing abilities. Must be comfortable with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Strong research and interviewing skills are essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
