Job Description

QA Networking Lead

with a strong technical background in networking product validation and test cases automation. If you have a passion for quality and are well versed in networking fundamentals, firewall, L2/L3 protocols, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN, virtualization technologies, Test frameworks, Test Automation and Non-Functional Testing this role is for you.

What you ll be doing ?

Define & implement quality test strategy and test plan based on requirements

Design and build topologies required for testing

Develop and execute UI and API test cases, and create automation scripts

Good knowledge of Non-Functional Testing

Experience in handling team, review tasks and provide regular updates to various stakeholders

Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce best practices in test automation and defect management

Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and technologies.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Qualification: A Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) from any recognized college in India.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in networking products qualification

Skills

Automation knowledge is a must - Python, Pytest, Robot; Perl is a plus

Well versed with networking protocols especially L2, and L3 Protocols

Sound knowledge of Routers and Switches

API and UI testing proficiency

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & integration with test automation

Team Player and ability to multi-task

Nice to have

Networking certifications like JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP or equivalent will be an added advantage

Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, AWS

Desired Technology Knowledge on:

Switches, routers and IP Networking Fundamentals.

Expertise in below technical areas:

Layer 2:

Datacenter & Switching technologies

STP, RSTP, MSTP

Layer 3:

Routing and routed protocols

MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, L2CKT

OSPF, ISIS, BGP
