The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of two Procurement Specialists, the entire procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role involves strategic planning, negotiation, and process improvement within the procurement department.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate performance.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry
- Strong leadership skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
- Accomplished project lead on problem solving initiatives
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
