Job Title: Assistant Project Lead (.NET/Dot Net) Location: Chandigarh Position Type: Full-Time
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced Assistant Project Lead (.NET/Dot Net) with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in software development and team leadership. In this role, you will assist in managing complex projects, oversee technical development, and mentor junior developers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership Coordination: Assist the Project Lead in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage daily development processes, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and delivered within timelines.
Team Management Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, fostering collaboration, and promoting continuous learning within the team.
Technical Ownership: Take ownership of complex technical modules, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to coding standards. Lead technical design and architecture for .NET-based applications.
Client Communication Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met, providing progress updates, and managing expectations. Build and maintain long-term client relationships for satisfaction and repeat business.
Risk Management Issue Resolution: Proactively identify project risks and technical issues, providing effective solutions to keep projects on track and mitigate risks.
Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve development processes to ensure efficient workflows, quality delivery, and adherence to best practices.
Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure the codebase remains structured, maintainable, and scalable.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with QA, business analysts, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of bug-free, functional software.
Documentation Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of technical architecture, design, and process flows. Provide detailed reports to senior management regarding project progress, milestones, and risk areas.
Continuous Learning Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, particularly in .NET and related frameworks, bringing innovative solutions to both the team and clients.
Qualifications:
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in .NET development, with strong proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API, and other .NET technologies.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading development teams, managing project timelines, and collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, T-SQL, and Web Services.
SDLC Understanding: Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile, Scrum, or similar approaches, with the ability to execute tasks efficiently.
Solution-Oriented: Capable of solving complex technical challenges and translating business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions.
Client-Focused: Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and high-quality results.
Mentorship Coaching: Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, promoting a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
Version Control Collaboration Tools: Proficient with tools like Git, SVN, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other CI/CD tools.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a quick and effective approach to resolving issues.
Time Management Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
Communication Reporting: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting, documentation, and client-facing activities.
Preferred Skills:
Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Microservices Containerization: Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Docker, and related technologies is a plus.
Agile/Scrum Experience: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Front-End Technologies: Experience with modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
DevOps Practices: Understanding of CI/CD practices, automated testing, and DevOps culture.
Cloud Container Solutions: Experience with cloud-based solutions and containerized architecture.
