Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer:

Experience : 4 to 8yrs

Education : BE/Btech, ME/Mtech

Location : Chennai

Notice Period : below 30days

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• 4-8 years work experience in a mechanical design role ideally in an automation company.
• Skilled use of various pneumatic components, motors and various sensors and creation of BOM.
• Have a strong knowledge in GD&T, sheet metal design, surface treatment and material properties
• Understanding of machining technology and the properties of common materials
• Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to work on machine installations, debugging and proposing design changes
• Document all design files. Output complete BOM for suppliers
• Lead machine assembly, make design change during machine test if necessary
• Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
• English skills. Chinese is a plus though not mandatory
