Job Description

  • Develop social media strategies aligned with the organization s goals and target audience.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities.
  • Create comprehensive social media plans that outline campaign objectives, target audience, content themes, and posting schedules.
Content Creation and Management:
  • Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters to develop compelling visual and written content.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Use content management tools or platforms to schedule and publish posts at optimal times.
Community Engagement and Relationship Building:
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and professionally.
  • Foster meaningful interactions with the audience by actively engaging in conversations and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the organization s social media followers and increase audience engagement.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and audience demographics.
  • Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, including key findings, actionable recommendations, and future campaign ideas.
Social Media Advertising:
  • Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertising campaigns to reach specific target audiences and marketing objectives.
  • Utilize targeting options, such as demographics, interests, and custom audiences, to maximize ad effectiveness.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust budgets and bidding strategies, and provide recommendations for improving campaign ROI.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
  • Proficient in social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, user behaviour, and digital marketing principles.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, or basic HTML/CSS skills is a plus.
