Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Dispense medications accurately and safely to patients, ensuring proper labeling and instructions.
2. Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
3. Monitor patient profiles for potential medication errors or allergic reactions.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
5. Maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and ensure proper storage of medications.
6. Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
8. Respond to patient queries and concerns.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Desired profile of the candidate:

1. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
2. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
3. Registration with the relevant pharmacy council
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
