PHP Developer @ Cognite

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.

• Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for seamless data retrieval.

• Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.

• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of the applications.

• Create and maintain technical documentation related to the development process.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
