Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, specializing in integrations, CMDB Discovery, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the following areas:
- Integration Mastery : Expertise in REST,SCRIPTED REST and third-party integrations with custom scripting, along with a strong background in custom build integrations using MID Server, JDBC, and ODBC.
- ITOM Expertise : Proficient in CMDB Discovery, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Asset Life cycle Management, with a minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in Discovery and CMDB implementation and configuration.
- ITSM Proficiency : Skilled in ITSM functionalities including Service Portal and flow Designer (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Level Agreements, Knowledge Management), with hands-on experience in Service Catalog and Service Portal configuration.
- Development Proficiency : Demonstrated capability in developing ServiceNow APIs, workflows, UI components (Pages, Macros, Scripts, Actions, Policies), Business Scripts, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Security Rules.
- Programming Skills : Proficient in JavaScript, Jelly, Glide, XML, HTML 5, Bootstrap, and Angular JS, with extensive experience working with Glide objects such as Glide Record, Glide System, Glide Aggregate, and Glide Ajax.
- Integration Experience : Deep knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with various third-party tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, etc, and familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) and LDAP integration.
- Technical Documentation : Proven ability to develop comprehensive technical documents and handbooks accurately representing application design, code, and testing scripts, along with excellent documentation skills covering requirement gathering, high-level and low-level design documents, and test documents.
- Understanding of Business Requirements : Clear understanding of business, functional, and technical requirements, with the ability to convert them into actionable technical tasks.
Certification:
- Certification - ServiceNow Application Developer
Experience Range:
- 8 to 12 years of Servicenow development workexperience.
- B.E/B. Tech or Masters/Bachelors incomputer Science
- JavaScript, RESTful API, XML, JSON aremust-haves.
- Understanding client requirements and translate to new application features.
- Testing the developed application and writing test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Angular JS is a plus
- Strong communication skills and structured thinking.
