SDET (Automation Test Engineer) @ Info Edge

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and use cases.
• Design, write, and execute automated test cases for web, mobile, or API applications.
• Maintain and update existing automation test scripts to accommodate changes.
• Use tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Postman based on the project.
• Debug and troubleshoot failed tests using logs and reports.
• Work with developers and manual testers to understand issues and verify fixes.
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline testing.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Document test results clearly and escalate defects appropriately.

Must-Have Skills:

• Basic understanding of test automation concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with one or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git preferred).
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and using tools like Postman for API testing.
  
• Experience - 1 to 3 years
