Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Website QA Tester, you will be responsible for planning and executing testing procedures to ensure that web applications and websites function as intended across various browsers and devices. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify bugs and ensure smooth functionality, responsiveness, and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and client requirements.
• Design, develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for web-based applications.
• Conduct functional, usability, compatibility, regression and performance testing.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Identify, document and track bugs and issues using tools like Jira, Trello or ClickUp.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to reproduce, isolate and resolve bugs.
• Validate bug fixes and conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
• Ensure websites meet SEO and accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.
• Report quality assurance metrics (defect densities, open defect counts, etc.)

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of professional experience in QA testing (manual or automation)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in testing across multiple browsers and devices.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
