We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Analysis Team. This team is responsible for delivering advanced structural, hydrodynamic, and mechanical analysis services for marine and offshore assets. Using cutting-edge simulation tools and best engineering practices, we ensure the safety, performance, and reliability of our designs.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will guide a team of engineers and designers, support project execution, and ensure adherence to industry standards and timelines.
Lead and manage the Engineering Analysis Team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Develop, validate, and review numerical models using advanced simulation tools (FEA/CAE).
Perform and oversee structural analyses of ship components and offshore systems.
Interpret analysis results and provide actionable design recommendations.
Prepare and review comprehensive technical reports and client presentations.
Conduct regular design reviews and suggest enhancements or improvements.
Ensure alignment with applicable design codes, industry standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with HoD and project stakeholders to understand requirements and solve technical challenges.
Manage client relationships and act as a technical point of contact.
Identify new service opportunities aligned with market and technological trends.
Promote continuous learning through knowledge sharing and documenting lessons learned.
Provide technical mentorship and career development guidance to team members.
Maintain and develop the technical skill set of the team in line with departmental goals.
Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering from a reputed institute.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural analysis within shipbuilding, offshore, or a related industry.
Expertise in FEA/CAE tools and simulation software.
Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Proven experience in managing technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle pressure and manage tight project schedules.
Willingness to travel for project needs.
Experience in budget and resource management.
Professional Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
