Job Description

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials (copper, PVC, XLPE, chemicals, etc.).

Purchase Orders: Create and process purchase orders; ensure alignment with production schedules and inventory levels.

Price Negotiation: Ensure cost-effectiveness through competitive price negotiation while maintaining quality standards.

Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with stores and production departments to maintain optimal stock levels.

Follow-up: Monitor order status, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any supply issues or delays.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement activities.

Compliance: Ensure purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and supplier performance.

Good knowledge of raw materials used in cable manufacturing

Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Bachelor's Degree (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent);

Experience in the cable/electrical manufacturing sector is a must
