Job Description
- Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for multiple clients, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to address any issues or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand client requirements and provide recommendations for optimizing their cloud architecture. Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding cloud operations, addressing their inquiries, concerns, escalations and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on cloud-related matters and offering insights into industry trends and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews Monthly and weekly with stake holders and performance and security assessments with clients to ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and technical support to foster their professional growth and development.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities.
- Coordinate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed to support business growth and client demand. Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce operational processes, procedures, and standards for cloud operations, including incident management, change management, and capacity planning.
- Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency across client environments.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing, and assess their potential impact on our clients business objectives and strategies.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management, preferably in a service-based or managed services environment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS & Azure,with experience in architecting and managing multi-tenant cloud environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication (English) and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate is a plus
