Job Description: SAP Basis Senior Engineer

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a strong focus on SAP HANA database administration and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis operations and project implementations. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP landscapes, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with a specialized expertise in HANA database management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP systems, particularly those running on the HANA platform.

Required Skills and Experience:

5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.  

Extensive experience in SAP HANA database administration and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, EWM, PI/PO, APO etc.

Proficiency in operating system administration (Linux, Windows).

Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.

Working experience in implementation & S/4HANA conversion projects

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

Experience with SAP cloud platforms (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP) is a plus.

Experience with SAP monitoring tools.

Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies.
