Job Description
You will beresponsible for defining, leading, and modernizing Acentra Healths software qualitystrategy in accordance with the companys overall growth objectives. You willbe accountable for all Software Quality strategies and initiatives. You willincorporate industry best practices into our software quality practices.
You will have theopportunity to learn our government focused health product and solutions and createquality best practices and standards, design and establish common testingprocesses , and assist with improving how we build, test, deploy, andrelease our software products.
Whatyou will do:
- Involved in the design and adoption of a scalable and consistent testing process by using holistic approach that emphasizes using modern industry practices for testing automation, test data management, functional and non-functional testing, and measuring product quality .
- Contribute to the testing suite and shape testing standards.
- Conduct release readiness reviews, retrospectives, documents, and incorporate lessons learned following accomplishment of release milestones.
- Mentor software quality engineers and software developers on best practices and share new solutions.
- Research and evaluate appropriate use of current and emerging industry tools and techniques to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendation on improvements.
- Improve product quality.
- Support curiosity and innovation
- Establish, oversee, and enforce standards.
- Help track and report metrics that demonstrate product quality effectiveness and maturity.
Whoyou are:
Relevant Experience : 6-7 years
Skills : Functional Testing, API Testing,Automation/Performance Testing
Language : C# is preferable
Education: Bachelors Degree
Required Knowledge:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of modern software development lifecycles
- Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (backend and frontend)
- Proficient in backend testing including writing SQL queries for testing data integrity
- Develops Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements
- Analyzes requirements, coordinates with BAs / Subject Matter Experts.
- Identifies test conditions and / or creates test cases.
- Conducts and/or participates in peer reviews of test cases and test plans.
- Creates / Conditions test data for test execution.
- Provide test execution summary/updates
- Participate in peer reviews, testing process improvements, and other testing related activities.
- Execute Manual Tests, also ability to Update / Maintain and execute automated tests scripts
- Validates release notes.
- Identifies and reports risks.
- Coordinates Onshore / Offshore as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Agile delivery methodology experience
