Job Description
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java (Java 11/17) and frameworks like Spring Boot .
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB .
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability using best practices and design patterns.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Implement unit testing and participate in code reviews.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.(Good to have)
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and DevOps teams.
- Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
What You Know:
- 4-9 years of experience in Java backend development .
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data .
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API Gateway .
- Proficiency in database design and SQL queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes , and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka(Preferred), RabbitMQ is a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
- Good understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous processing .
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GraphQL .
- Familiarity with Reactive Programming (WebFlux).
- Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture .
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
