Job Description

Strategic Talent Acquisition Planning
  • Develop a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives, workforce planning, and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand current and future hiring needs based on business expansion, new projects, and resource requirements.
  • Proactively create a strong talent pipeline and develop pre-qualified candidate pools in line with the manpower plan and/or projections.
  • Advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), providing thought leadership to enhance talent acquisition strategies and support an inclusive environment.
  • Conduct market mapping and adopt a strategic approach to mapping skills (both generic and niche) in the market.
Talent Acquisition Delivery
  • Accountable for recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles in India.
  • Develop a sourcing plan that includes a varied mix of job sites, social media networks, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and employee referrals.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and job requisition management to candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and final hiring.
  • Ensure recruitment is executed within agreed timelines, meeting business needs promptly.
  • Attract top talent that fits the organizational culture and possesses the necessary skills and experience. Implement robust candidate screening and evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation abilities and the capability to close candidates.
  • Manage the candidates experience throughout the recruitment process.
Leadership Hiring
  • Act as the point of contact for all leadership hiring needs within the organization.
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategies for leadership hiring.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications for leadership roles.
  • Source, screen, and assess applicants for relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the required timeframe.
  • Onboard new leaders to ensure they are fully integrated into the organization.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with department heads, to understand talent requirements and align recruitment efforts with business priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between hiring managers and the talent acquisition team, ensuring clear communication of expectations, candidate profiles, and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other third-party vendors to ensure a steady and diverse talent pipeline.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Oversee and manage the talent acquisition team, including recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators, ensuring they meet hiring goals effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to talent acquisition team members, helping them continuously improve their recruitment practices, candidate evaluation, and client management skills.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the TA team and across other departments to improve the recruitment process and outcomes.
  • Ensure high performance and achievement of goals within the team.
TA Analytics, Reporting and Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, and employee retention rates to assess and improve recruitment process efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on hiring trends, challenges, and successes to senior leadership, offering data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage recruitment budgets and ensure cost-effective hiring practices without compromising quality.
  • Utilize MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to generate reports and roll out dashboards on a weekly basis.
  • Provide analytical, well-documented, and consumable recruiting reports.
Recruitment Trends and Technology Integration
  • Leverage modern sourcing techniques such as social media recruitment, networking, employee referrals, job fairs, and online communities to attract top talent.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, recruitment trends, and new technologies, particularly AI, to continuously improve the companys talent acquisition strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing channels, candidate selection tools, and hiring processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, integrating AI to automate repetitive tasks and provide better insights.
Leverage and Integrate AI for:
  • Intelligent search engines
  • Candidate matching algorithms
  • Social media recruitment platforms
  • Gaining better insights
Who you are:
  • 15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in the IT product/service industry.
  • Post-graduate degree (preferred in HR, Business Administration, or related fields).
  • Proven experience in leadership recruitment is required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • Good logic and analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in managing Talent Acquisition budgets.
  • Proven ability to build and execute recruiting programs, such as employer branding strategies, interview programs, campus recruitment, etc.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job sites, social media networks, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and employee referrals.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent candidate management capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Required to work from Chennai office 8 days a month.
