In this role,as a UI Developer , you will join our Engineering Excellence team,responsible for defining, designing, and leading Acentra Healths technologystrategy. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SoftwareDeveloper with a strong focus on User Interface (UI) Development. Thisrole involves designing and developing the Design System and user interfacestrategy for the Acentra Health product suite. The ideal candidate shouldhave a passion for developing user experiences and a proficiency in bothfront-end and back-end technologies.
Job Responsibilities :
Design and implement the Design System and the collection of reusable components using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Typescript, and Angular.
- Work with the product development teams to architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive our complex web applications.
- Ensure responsiveness and performance across a variety of devices and browsers.
- Write test cases and perform debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
- Uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability using best practices such as refactoring and code reviews.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, deliver updates, and solicit feedback.
- Collaborate with design teams, product managers, and other developers to bring new features and services into production.
- Support curiosity and innovation.
- Leverage generative AI and prompt engineering to enhance UI software development.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology and industry best-practices.
- Establish, oversee, and enforce front-end development standards.
- Experience/Preferred Skills Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience in full stack development, with a significant portion dedicated to front-end development.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of modern software development lifecycles.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and Typescript.
- Extensive experience with at least Angular front-end framework.
- Experience in server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, Node.js).
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of source code management version control tools, preferably Git.
- Expertise developing automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, with integration to Jenkins.
- Experience in converting mock-ups and design prototypes into functional user interfaces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust to meet the needs of the audience.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with virtual and global teams.
- PreferredQualifications:
Healthcare Industry experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working with design systems.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, promoting iterative development and collaboration.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment.
- Exposure to using OpenAI and ChatGPT.
