Job Description
- Description We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong background in software testing and programming, particularly in Python. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and define test strategies that align with our quality goals. As part of our agile development environment, you will contribute to enhancing our automation framework, improve testing processes, and ensure that all products meet their performance benchmarks. Your expertise in automation frameworks will be crucial in identifying issues early in the development cycle, thereby assisting in delivering high-quality software solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing test results, documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues efficiently. If you have a passion for quality assurance and enjoy working in a collaborative team setting, we encourage you to apply and help us maintain the highest standards of quality in our software Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python. Design and implement test plans and test cases based on software requirements. Execute automated and manual tests and document results appropriately. Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools. Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve test coverage. Perform regression testing for new releases and updates. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software testing and automation, particularly using Python. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or similar. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. (ref:hirist.tech),
