Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of automation testers to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for Mobile (Android/iOS) and API testing using Java-based tools (Appium, RestAssured, Selenium, etc.).
• Define automation strategy, best practices, and ensure high test coverage for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for continuous testing.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and improve test automation stability.
• Review test cases, scripts, and results to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and implement improvements.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation with a focus on Mobile & API testing.
• Strong expertise in Java for automation scripting.
• Experience with Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG/JUnit, Postman.
• Knowledge of Mobile testing tools (Espresso, XCUITest) and API testing tools.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is a plus.
• Experience in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
