Primary External Interactions:
Collaborate across Onshore in support of related financial reporting deliverables and special projects.
Consult with Onshore as needed during the close and in support of certain projects.
Client trainers, SMEs and Operations for the purpose of developing and updating training curriculum, provide feedback on training and discussing specific action plans
Onshore process leads/ SMEs to seek clarifications & answer queries
Internal/ External auditors to support onshore teams with various audit requests
Qualified/Semi-qualified accountant/Masters in Finance with 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Reconciliations.
10K/10Q SEC GAAP Reporting
Knowledge and expertise in the insurance industry preferably from Life Insurance background
Team handing experience of 5+ years
Strong understanding of US GAAP, STAT, financial statements such as Income Statement, Balance sheet etc.
Experience in internal and external audit support
Understand requirements and collaborate across functions to ensure smooth delivery of finance and accounting deliverables and special projects
Hands on experience of working on various ERPs such as SAP, SAP S/4HANA etc.
Responsible for meeting close deadlines with high accuracy and minimal rework
International exposure to F&A outsourcing environment
Comprehension skills should be able to read, interpret business documents
Good communication & comprehensions skills
Ability to liaison with multiple stakeholders/departments
Provides management with accurate and timely financial reports
Ability to multi task and handle adverse situations in a professional manner
Any certification in insurance/reinsurance life/LOMA, etc. preferred.
