Sr. Software Engineer @ anblicks

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code using React, Node.js frameworks (e.g., Next.js), and Python.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and implement features.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and stability.

Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines for efficient data processing and management.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations and customizations.

Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure application security

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and software quality

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

6+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Next.js).

Solid understanding of Python and its applications in backend development.

Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.

Salesforce development experience (e.g., Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL).

Bonus Skills (Assets):

Experience with data pipeline technologies (e.g., Airbyte, Dagster).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with Typescript.

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
