Snowflake Data Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Perform data transformations using dbt (data build tool).
• Implement data sharing solutions to facilitate data access across teams.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct data migrations and optimize data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Document data processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in data engineering, with a focus on Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt for data transformations.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with data sharing, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
