Job Title: Consultant - Data Management and Governance
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to be a part of our data management and governance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management strategies, data quality management, and data security and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure the integrity, security, and effective use of data across our client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
- Oversee data quality management processes to maintain high data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management practices with business objectives.
- Design and manage data lifecycle processes, including data classification, retention, and disposal.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate data-related risks.
- Provide training and support on data governance and management best practices.
- Utilize data management tools and platforms to enhance data governance capabilities.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics & Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.
- Expertise in using Collibra for data management, with knowledge on both front and backend functionalities is a must have.
- Proficiency in using SQL and Python to analyze data and find insights, trends & gaps.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
