Job Description

The Associate End User Experience & Engineering (EUX) Manager is instrumental in the strategic planning, development, and execution of advanced technical initiatives aimed at enhancing the organizations digital environment for end users. This role focuses on researching and developing solutions, planning projects, and providing strategic leadership and support to solve complex problems. Collaboration with department leadership and cross-functional teams is essential to ensure the success of high-visibility projects and alignment with organizational goals. Effective communication, strategic thinking, and security management are vital to ensure a seamless user experience and maintaining adherence to IT policies.
  • Help to oversee, lead, and support strategic End User Experience & Engineering initiatives, including high-visibility projects related to the design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions that address end-user pain points and align with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership, security team, and other organizations to ensure successful implementation of projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain complex automation solutions using automation platform tools.
  • Support tickets submitted by end users for solutions owned by the EUX team.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and provide high-level technical support for EUX-owned environments.
  • Mentor junior staff, help lead strategic initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert in advanced technical areas.
  • Create, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for scripts, applications, configurations, and infrastructure used in the end-user computing environment.
  • Implement and uphold security measures to protect end-user computing environments, assisting with environment audits and ensuring compliance.
  • Communicate project status, technical issues, and training opportunities to team members, management, and end users.
  • Cross-train team members and other IT departments to eliminate single points of failure and ensure comprehensive coverage of responsibilities.
  • Perform all other duties and activities as required.

WHAT YOU VE DONE:
Education and Work Experience:
  • A bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), or a similar discipline or equivalent years of experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in IT or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency in automation technologies such as Azure Automation or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of scripting/programming languages like PowerShell, C#, or Java.
PREFERRED:
  • Possession of certifications related to Microsoft 365, JAMF, Intune, or Azure.
  • Expertise in managing and administering macOS and Windows environments.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:
  • Proficiency in tools such as Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
  • Understanding of IT cloud infrastructure architecture methodologies. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365 services, and security standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and development, implementing innovative solutions based on new technologies.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and update detailed documentation for technical processes and infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures, including regular audits and compliance checks.
