Job Description
We are actively seeking a rockstar Frontend Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to play a key role in our development team. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in React.js, JavaScript, Next.js, Typescript, HTML5, and CSS6 to lead the creation of cutting-edge user interfaces. Additional exposure with React Native will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications writing high quality reusable, testable, optimized and scalable source code in React.js, JavaScript and Typescript
- Expert in working with CMS like Wordpress, Strapi delivering efficient and modern web content.
- Expert in leveraging modern HTML and CSS implementations to design compelling web interfaces that can drive organic traffic through carefully developed SEO implementations
- Additional experience of developing hybrid mobile applications will be highly preferred.
- Develop web applications using defined technology stack ensuring cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend functionalities, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization delivering high performing web pages with low latency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and fix any issues.
- Optimize web applications for performance, reliability, security and scalability.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web application development like micro-frontends etc.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues and provide technical support when needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and team skills working with colleagues across locations.
- Practices Agile software engineering ceremonies like Scrum, following Sprints in JIRA
- Demonstrate company values of integrity, professionalism, agility, collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of proven relevant experience as a Frontend Engineer with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS6.
- Expertise in Wordpress or Strapi CMS
- Sound and clean application of UI/UX design prototypes into clean web pages.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Bitbucket or Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration skills, with an attention to detail.
- Practices Agile software engineering ceremonies like Scrum, following Sprints in JIRA
Optional Skills:
- Prior experience of developing live, production grade, customer facing web solutions
- Exposure to Typescript and React Native, and implementation of SEO strategies will be an added advantage
- Any certifications in relevant technologies would be a plus
