Automation Tester @ Valuelabs

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Build and maintain robust automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Maven, etc.).
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to understand application features and functionalities.
Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA or equivalent.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings in Agile/Scrum environments.
Maintain and improve existing test suites and frameworks.
Contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and Java.
Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and proficiency in Java programming.
Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured is a plus.
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
