Devops Engineer @ Lynkit

Job Description

We are looking for a devops engineer with experience in AWS. Additional experience in Azure would be highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities :

- Implement and Improve Continuous delivery, Security and Cost efficiency

- Implement and develop CI/CD tooling.

- Automated Release and change management.

- Responsible for building and maintaining an infrastructure for a multi-site development team including source code repository, release tools, scripts, packaging, and deployment tools.

- Build an alerting framework with a thorough review of the exceptions, logs and events with a motive of knowing any site reliability or performance issues before hand.

- Build and maintain highly available systems.

- Manage Infrastructure using AWS cloud.

- Implementation and support of Microservices Architecture.

- Prior experience in a monitoring domain such as infrastructure monitoring, application performance management (APM) or network performance monitoring (NPM).

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.

Required Candidate profile :

1. (1+ years) Strong development or scripting background.

2. (2+ years) Extensive experience with Linux server management and maintenance.

3. (1+ years) Experience in designing, deploying, and operating highly available, scalable and fault tolerant systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

4. Automating production infrastructure with Terraform, Cloud Formation, Jenkins, Ansible etc.

5. Experience with CI/CD practices. Good understanding of Microservices Architecture.

6. Experience working on Kubernetes, Docker.

7. Experience in automation with script/config management tools.

8. Highly skilled in deployment, data security and troubleshooting of the applications using AWS services.

9. Knowledge of API design, SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)

10. AWS cloud certification or Azure cloud certification will be preferred
