Talend Developer [Data Stewardship] | 8Y+ | Pune | Bangalore | Hybrid | Quick Joiner | We are seeking a highly skilled Talend Data Steward with over 8 years of experience in data governance and data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Talend Data Catalog, and a strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and data classification. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data assets are accurate, well-documented, and effectively governed. Responsibilities Manage and maintain metadata using Talend Data Catalog. Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and processes. Monitor and improve data quality metrics and remediation processes. Collaborate with Data Owners, Architects, and Business Analysts for data classification and lineage mapping. Conduct data profiling and ensure metadata accuracy and completeness. Drive adoption of best practices in data stewardship across the organization. Support compliance efforts related to data privacy and regulatory requirements. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data management/stewardship. Strong expertise in Talend Data Catalog configuration, administration, and customization. Proficient in data lineage, metadata standards, and data profiling. Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and industry standards. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of SQL and enterprise data environments. Preferred Qualification: Experience with other Talend suite components (e.g., Talend Data Integration, Talend Data Quality). Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Certification in Talend or Data Governance tools is a plus.,
