Cloud Architect - AWS/Azure (8-12 yrs)We have been retained by a very large IT services firm who drive digital-led innovation and digitally-enabled intelligent operations.
Position : Cloud Architect
Job Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon
Job Description :
Specific competences (Essential) :
- Overall 8-12 years of experience in AWS / Azure / GCE as Technical Architect with implementation and sustenance experience dealing with international stakeholders.
- Must have managed different technology stack like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, 2-Tier, 3-Tier, Micro Service etc.
- Should have executed critical projects pertaining to above stack combination at Enterprise level in terms of DevOps, automation and migration design approach model
- Experience in designing secured cloud strategy models with balanced approach of automation
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with experience in discussing with OEMs on solutions and approach model
- Flexible to accommodate time-zones as teams are geographically dispersed
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of setting priorities
- Pro Certification in AWS or Azure is must
Specific competences (Desirable) :
- Knowledge in networks or Linux platforms will be beneficial
- Working knowledge of tools like Chef, Puppet
- Scripting knowledge of Perl, Python, JSON
Key Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and validation of new and current cloud platforms
- Manage fortnightly reviews for complex IT implementations across multiple towers including applications, products etc.
- Review and recommend changes in the application deployment lifecycle process
- Needs to manage relationship and resolve dispute if any between internal and partner stakeholders
- Bring Industry best practices to ensure the solution design is scalable and secured
- Drive Service improvement projects across in partnership with internal and partner teams
- Explore opportunities to optimize and ensure we are in-line with customer requirements
