IT Technology Services Specialists shape the next level of ECS offerings for multiple scenarios within the company
You will join a team of motivated individuals in a well-established broader group of automation experts, What Youll Do
Design lifecycle management operation automation and architecture concepts, tools, and processes
Drive issue resolution together with the teams and utilize the expert network
Drive technology discussions and innovations
Be the escalation point for technical issues
Analyze technical requirements and organize / co-ordinate experts from Enterprise Cloud Services and development and drive these topics to resolution
Optimize and stabilize the standardization and automation behind customer service requests and procedures in a proactive way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities
What You Bring
Engineering or equivalent degree with five to seven years of work experience in infrastructure operations and automation, Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior experience in infrastructure operations and automation
Knowledge as technical/basis consultant or technical project manager is beneficial
Experience in script programming, automation tools and markup language (e-g
Shell, Perl, Python, Ansible, YAML etc ), preferable Ansible
Good understanding of various hyperscalers incl
IBM Cloud, MS Azure, AWS, GCP and their cloud native capabilities
Fluency written and spoken in English
Tech you bring
Proven track record in automation of infrastructure administration tasks like OS installations, upgrades, security patching etc
Good understanding in infrastructure related topics like hyperscaler VPCs, hypervisor technologies like VMWare/KVM and Suse/RHEL as OS
Touchpoints with SAP software like Netweaver products would be beneficial General understanding of hyperscaler capabilities like network, storage, compute with one expert knowledge like storage migration
Tech you'll learn
Latest technologies used in cloud operation like cloud native capabilities, Ansible, etc
Inhouse technologies supporting ECS to operate and manage 5000+ customers and 100k+ systems at scale
