DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Min 3 years of retail domain & Testing experience
- Good knowledge of business process & best practices around material handling, purchase / procurement, warehouse, fleet & route management.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, software testing certifications / knowledge shall be an added advantage
- Should be ready to work in a non IT, end user retail company like ours
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strength in understanding of business processes / functionalities around material handling / purchase / procurement / replenishment strategies / assortment & planning, warehouse management, fleet management, route management, retail, logistics, Indian indirect duties /taxes.
- Knowledgeable on implementation + project + support related processes, issue tracking & management
- Effective time management
- Knowledge of Best practices in testing
- Leads testing efforts
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner during testing
- Communicates needed changes to development team
- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules during testing phase
- Delivers informative, well-organized presentations and can communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
- Should possess Good Technical Understanding and preferably Retail background understanding of warehouse / logistics / c&f is an added plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains all proper documents related to testing, including strategy, plan and cases in accepted formats as per known standards
2. Effectively defines scope for testing
3. Does business process study with the help of business team. Reviews and requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Prepare test plans and helps team create test cases
4. Ensures identified issues are monitored, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner during testing.
5. Effectively able to communicate issues / changes to development team, update stakeholders, etc
6. Plans effectively, sets priorities, and manages test plans
7. Manages resources in accordance with project testing schedule
8. Should be able to handle a small team of 3-4 testers effectively
