Designation: Team Leader Retail Sales

Purpose:

To lead, manage, and develop a team of Sales Executives to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and expand customer relationships, while coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Key Result areas:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, plans, and tactics to drive sales growth and expand customer relationships.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the skills of Sales Executives to enhance their performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Establish, track, and analyze sales performance metrics and analytics to inform sales strategies and optimize team performance.
  • Ensure the sales team builds and maintains strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to sales processes and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipelines to ensure accurate sales projections and revenue growth.

Enablers:

  • A clear sales strategy and PJP for Sales Executives to be provided for success.
  • Effective governance for 100% adherence of sales processes and procedures.
  • Analyse and provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Regular coaching and feedback to develop and upskill the sales team.
  • Ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills.
  • Provide valuable insights for decision-making through relevant sales metrics and analytics.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensures alignment and support.
  • Review and enable the sales team to navigate tools and technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Display strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the team.
  • Design and implement performance-based incentives and recognition drive sales performance and organizational objectives.
