Desktop Support Job Description:
As an IT technical support officer, you'll install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person. You'll cover one or more areas of expertise, depending on the size of the organization.
Responsibilities and duties :
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Qualification and skills:
Education Graduation
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners, Bar-Code scanner, MDM etc.
Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
Excellent problem-solving, multitasking skills & good communication
Minimum 2 years of experience in information technology or technical support
Extensive familiarity with Windows operating systems
Working knowledge of security software options and functionality preferred
