Job Description

  key responsibilities:   1. Strategic Planning and Vision:
• Developing Research Strategy: Defining the long-term research roadmap and strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall goals.   
• Identifying Research Areas: Identifying and prioritizing promising research areas within AI, considering emerging trends and business needs.   
•  
2. Team Leadership and Development:
• Building and Mentoring: Hiring, training, and mentoring a team of AI researchers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.   
• Performance Management: Setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.   
• Knowledge Sharing: Facilitating knowledge sharing within the team and promoting continuous learning and development.   
3. Project Management and Execution:
• Overseeing Projects: Managing the entire lifecycle of research projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.   
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with research projects.   
• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, business development) to integrate research findings into products and services.   
4. Technical Expertise and Oversight:
• Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI research and related fields.
• Guiding Research: Providing technical guidance and direction to the research team, ensuring the use of appropriate methodologies and tools.
