Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Full Stack Architect to lead the design and development of modern web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java, UI design, and microservices architecture, with a strong background in PL/SQL, digital transformation initiatives, and application migration strategies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable and robust application architectures leveraging microservices, ensuring integration and performance across the full technology stack.
- Technology Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of Java, UI frameworks, and PL/SQL to create innovative solutions and streamline application functionality.
- UI/UX Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the development of intuitive user interfaces that enhance the end-user experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for technology enhancements and leading the implementation of innovative solutions.
- Application Migration: Lead efforts in migrating legacy applications to modern architectures and platforms while minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Oversee code quality through regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and overall software security.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organizations applications and services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 of experience in software development, with at least 10 in a full-stack architectural role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and its frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
- Strong experience in designing microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.)
- Proficiency in PL/SQL with experience in database design and optimization.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills.
