Youll break new ground by:

• Application development: You are responsible for designing, building, implementing and running front/back-end applications (e.g. web applications) to provide cloud-based microservices to our global manufacturing sites.
• Cloud Computing: You work on our data pipelines and applications in our modern data infrastructure, especially with AWS.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Together with an experienced team, you will be responsible for the conception, implementation and administration of cloud environments (including AWS, Azure, Google).
• Continuous Integration: You regularly consolidate your programming progress / code changes to (web) and front-end applications in our central repositories.
• Deployment: You install, configure, and activate your applications to make them usable for the needs or requirements of the business, for example via Dockers containers.
• Digital Factory: You will carry out pilots together with departments in manufacturing to demonstrate the functionality of your front-end / web applications in practice.
• Cross-Functional Teams: You have the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with various stakeholders as well as working experience with Agile/Lean projects and DevOps tools.

Youre excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• You have a bachelor's degree or higher in the field of computer science, information technology, business informatics or a related field with a focus on IT infrastructure (cloud computing).
• You have already gained several years of professional experience in the area of application development and cloud computing.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, esp. AWS are desired.
• You have very good knowledge of the programming languages SQL and Python.
• Extensive familiarity with any of Python web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django), REST APIs, and key libraries including SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Proficient knowledge and practical, hands-on with JavaScript (TypeScript and Node.js) and JavaScript frameworks.
• Understanding of common design patterns and architectures.
• You have the ability to understand complex questions, analyze them in detail and convert them into a solution that is easy to understand and use for the business.
• Analytical ability, customer orientation, decision-making ability, organizational skills as well as assertiveness and communication skills are what characterize you.
• Fluent English skills complete your profile.

This role is based in Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore. Youll also get to visit other locations in India and beyond, so youll need to go where this journey takes you. In return, youll get the chance to work with international team and working on global topics.
