Principal Software Engineer-IT

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you ll achieve
As an IT Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships You will:

Develop and manage Golang-based APIs, Operators, and CLI tools for automation and upgrades
Collaborate with platform engineers and application stakeholders to design and implement scalable Kubernetes solutions, incorporating RBAC, storage management, ingress configurations, HPA, Helm, and custom CRDs.
Build, upgrade, and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement and manage GitLab-based workflows, optimizing CI/CD pipelines and secrets management.

Essential Requirements

8+ Yrs of experience in software development methodologies
Proven experience with Golang development (API, CLI, Operators).
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes deployment & management.
Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, TLS certificates, DNS configurations, and system security.
Strong understanding of Observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and Application Performance tuning.

Desirable Requirements

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science
Exposure to other programming languages like JAVA or other similar programming languages
