Job Description
- Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for functional and regression testing cycles. Identify, accurately record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution using appropriate defect management tools. Apply strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques (e.g., black-box, white-box, exploratory testing) to ensure robust test coverage. Conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform API testing to ensure backend functionality and integrations. Work closely with development, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum development methodology environment. Take ownership of the quality of assigned features and modules, ensuring they meet specified requirements and performance standards. Proactively identify opportunities for test process improvement and contribute to the overall quality assurance best practices within the team. Maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation. Position Eligibility / Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Proven hands-on experience in Manual Testing. Solid knowledge of databases and proficiency in writing SQL queries. Experience with API testing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and frameworks. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to perform Functional and Regression Testing. Preferred Skills Knowledge of the Healthcare domain will be a significant advantage. (ref:hirist.tech),
